Information about IELTS writing?
Basically, IELTS writing is a fourth paper of IELTS which comes after Reading paper. The length of this paper is 60 minutes and it has two parts. The first part is known as Writing Task 1, and the second one is called Writing Task Two. You need to complete both tasks to get maximum score in IELTS writing and you are free to write first any task, either task 1 or task 2 it totally depends on you which task you want to round off first.
IELTS Academic Writing Task 1?
IELTS recommends spending less than 20 minutes on Task 1. However, you can organize your time as needed. You need to write at least 150 words. IELTS Writing Task 1 is only about 33% of total writing performance.

Academic Writing Task One Question Type:
To write Task 1 of the IELTS Academic Test, you need to write a summary / report / description of at least 150 words, depending on the particular question type. Below is a list of each question type.

Tips and Tricks to get High Score in Task 1.
- To get better score use this structure in Writing task one. First, paraphrase the question in your own words, then write Overview in 3 to 4 sentences. Afterwords write given information into body paragraphs three and four.
- Analyze the chart and identify important features
- Write over 150 words
- Highlight your key features in an overview
- Use different vocabulary
- Avoid misspelling
- Use different sentence structures
- Use correct punctuation
- Fininsh task 1 within 20 minutes
IELTS Academic Writing Task 2?
This is the second part of writing paper and in this part you need to write an essay of at least 250 words. IELTS recommends spending less than 40 minutes creating Task 2. However, you can organize your time as needed. You need to write at least 250 words. In the next lesson, you will learn more about word counts and essay lengths. IELTS Writing Task 2 accounts for only about 66% of total writing performance.

- Plan and Structure Your Paragraph
- Develop ideas for essay topic
- Write more than 250 words
- Use Acdemic Vocabulary
- Try to use linking words while starting a new paragraph (Therefor,Firstly,Secondly,Lastly,Hence,Thus…)
Things which affect score
- Word Count
- Word limit 150-180 (Task 1)
- 250-280 (Task 2) No more , No less
- Count the words in the first row and then count the total of columns
- Off-Topic
- Check your answer is not off topic
- Ask yourself , Is it relevant to the question or not?
- Memorized
- Do not use learned phrases and statements
- You are given a score for your creative writing, not the typical statement most students are using.
- Hand Writing
- Read and check your answer is easy to read
- You will be graded on clear hand writing
- If your writing is not up to the mark, your score will be affected badly.
